Nubius Organics Giveaway- Healthy, Green products for Eco-Friendly Living

Nubius Organics says their mission "is to raise awareness of environmental issues, and offer eco-friendly (and stylish!) solutions where possible." I can say that their website really does walk the walk. They have quite a bit of space devoted to articles about living green and helping people take simple steps as well as learning about the importance of going green. Nubius Organics has lots of green products to chose from and they break it down to into these categories- Eco-baby and kids, reusable bottles, bags, and totes, no waste lunch, organic lifestyle, and green gifts. They really have great taste in their selection and I can tell you there are soooo many things I want to get from them!

My kids were fortunate to receive Nubius Organics Yesterday's News Coloring Set. These super cool colored pencils are actually made with reused newspapers! Each Pencil is made from tightly wrapped sheets of censored journalism, classified ads and table tennis results. I really love that the set of 12 great quality coloured pencils comes it a great case that they can be stored in. I think all parents appreciate storage cases and this one is also recycled newspaper. The pencil are beautiful colors an glide onto the paper well. They sharpen just like a normal wooden pencil. I like that is this product is cute, fun, educational, and totally affordable!



I got a set of Nubius Organics Blue Lotus Bags. I felt very proud of myself when I brought these to the super market! I have been using the reusable shopping bags for a while but only recently heard of reusable produce and bulk bags. These bags are 100% Organic Cotton and my set comes with a small bag, a medium bag, and a large bag. Another great bonus about these bags is that they help keep your vegetables fresh and crisp wrapped if you moisten with water before putting into fridge. I also loved the convenient drawstring closures.

Kid Bean: Vegan, Organic Products for Babies and Kids Made Mostly in the USA

I was searching the web recently and I came across a company called Kid Bean. It caught my eye because it is an online boutique of earth-friendly, labor-friendly, vegan baby and children's products. I love that it was started by a mother. I think we all know how hard it is to have a dream and go for it so I love supporting companies that are the result of this kind of go-getter spirit! I also love that the founder is a passionate environmentalist who meticulously researches each and every company and product they sell. She asks questions like, "Were the workers who made this treated fairly? Which organic certification do they have (GOTS, CU, or..?)? What is the impact of their packaging? Are all the ingredients really safe?" The end result of this is that, "With your support, together we are reducing our country's trade deficit and unemployment rate, reducing fuel-related pollution from overseas transport, and working toward living wages for all of us." Pretty cool, right?

They really walk the Green talk! In fact Kid Bean, has a whole green page devoted to letting you know all that they do to embrace being green. They suggest that, "perhaps they will inspire you to make changes in your own personal and/or business life" to be more earth-friendly.
