Filtering my water has always been important to me- for taste, my health, and the health of the planet. I like the taste of filtered water so much better. I can always taste the chlorine when it is not filtered. I have been using a counter pitcher filtration system for years but always really wanted a better quality filter. My Zuvo arrived well packaged and with clear instructions. For most faucets, installation is a simple process that just involves plugging it in and screwing it on to the tap. I, however, have a fancy new pull-out handle faucet so I had to get the Butler Tahiti Faucet Kit to install the Zuvo. It took a little more work but my husband followed the instructions and set it up for us. Now we can get filtered, healthy water on demand at a rate of 1/2 gallon per minute. Pretty cool! That is right, on demand! No need for me to refill the pitcher when I am done, or to wait for it to filter if I run out. I used to be really lazy about using filtered water in my pasta because I never had enough. Now I will never run out! I really love that! I also think it looks great! I love the actual Zuvo unit. It is really cool. My daughter likes to watch as you turn on the water and the stainless steel tube lights up the water swirls with bubbles in a blue UV light. The truth is I find it equally fun to watch the Zuvo work!

The Zuvo filter needs to be changed about every six months and a filter costs around $30.00. So that's about half what I was paying for my pitcher filters that needed to be changed once a month. The Zuvo Purator came with one filter in the unit already and if I registered my Zuvo, I will get a filter for free. (Note to self, don't forget!)
