Next Gen All Natural Green Tea Cat Litter Review and Giveaway

>> Wednesday, November 17, 2010

We got a kitten for my daughter a few months ago. The first bag of litter I brought home from the store was picked up in a hurry, (kitty waiting in the car), and it was horrible! I couldn't stand the smell. It was so full of perfumes that I could barely breathe when I passed our laundry room where we put the litter box. I knew I needed to find a more natural option and when I came across Next Gen Green Tea Cat Litter I was very curious about it.

Next Gen Pet products are designed with a simple goal in mind, to provide functional products which are environmentally friendly and safe for you and your pet.

Next Gen Cat Litters are made from ALL NATURAL ingredients. The primary ingredient in the Green Tea Leaves Cat Litter is wood. The wood Next Gen uses is carefully selected recycled wood scrap from factories that make furniture and / or musical instruments (no trees are cut for the making of the litter). Wood has a natural ability to suppress bacteria and control odors in the litter box, so it is not necessary to add any chemicals or artificial fragrances to Next Gen cat litter.

Next Gen cat litter is extremely absorbent and because it doesn't have clay like most litters, it doesn't create a dust cloud when you pour the litter. Clumps made from Next Gen cat litter are smaller and lighter than clumps made with the clay litter. To dispose of the Next Gen cat litter clumps you can simply flush them (a few clumps at a time) down the toilet, dispose of them in the trash, or compost them. In a very short period of time the litter will degrade into a natural mulch – after all it is just wood and green tea! Green tea naturally contains a astringent called CATECHIN, with antioxidant properties that works as an effective deodorant and anti-bacterial agent. What's more? Next Gen Cat Litters are economical! One bag of Next Gen cat litter easily last my kitty for 5 weeks with routine scooping. I love that Next Gen Green Tea Leaves Cat Litter is eco-friendly, can be composted, and that it doesn't stink up my house with perfumes! Thumbs up from me.

I like the sound of the cat litter, we have tried the pine based ones but like to try the green tea one to see if it deals with the problem of multiple cats better.
