Artterro Eco-friendly Art and Craft Kits Review and Giveaway

Today I am excited to feature Artterro, a small mom-owned company that designs and wholesales high-quality, eco-friendly art kits. They feature beautiful, natural materials and love to encourage friends and families to share a quality art experience together! They are committed to sustainability, minimize packaging and print all packaging inserts on 100% post-consumer waste paper using green printing methods with energy use offset by wind power. Artterro kits are assembled in the US by Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by people with disabilities and those in need of job training skills.

Artterro is obviously a company I feel good about featuring, so now I bet you want to know more about their awesome award-winning eco-friendly art and craft kits! They currently feature a line of 12 unique, open-ended, mixed-media projects. All kits are intended for kids age 7 or 8 and up, and they retail between $16.95-$24.95. My daughter is only 5 but she loves art and craft projects so I knew she would enjoy these.




My daughter picked the Eco-Friendly Collage Decoration Kit and since Christmas is coming, I though this would be especially useful. I have fond memories of making Christmas ornaments with my mom. She loved all the beautiful papers it came with and she is using all the extras to make oragami with. She got to chose the coordinating papers she liked and then we cut them into pieces together and I held the ornament while she glued each piece on with the paint brush. Then it came with a glaze that she painted on last and which really turns it from a home craft into a beautiful shiny professional looking ornament. I am so proud of each one she did. She really enjoyed this set and it showed us how we could do more of this type of project.














Next we tackled the Eco-friendly Garden Art Kit. We love to garden together and we have a few indoor plants that would benefit from a little extra flare so I was really excited about this kit too! I cut the copper wire for her and explained how it worked after reading the easy to follow instructions. She got to pick out which beads she wanted to use for each construction and what shapes. I created her swirls and heart shapes and she got to thread on the beads and clip the smaller wire with the nail clippers. She loved this set just as much although it definitely required more supervision and help than the first one.
